A pun on the word "cornpone", which means "hickish", to cornpwn is to beat especially easily, skillfully, or effectively (that's to say, pwn) a person from an area more urban than the one you're from.
New Yorker A-Rod was just struck out by Ohioan Roger Clemens; A-Rod just got cornpwned!

also spelled corn pone; highest level of pwnage; derived from the story of the english settlers taking the indians land in return for only corn; most often seen when the 'pwnee' flips the pwn on the 'pwner'

1. To pwn oneself.

2. (In a gaming sense) To commit suicide by mistake.

ORIGIN

Created by Mic, Justin, and Mike during a trip to Ohio in July of 2005.

Cornpone is actually cornbread made without milk or eggs. But this has no connection to a cornpwn, so don't try to make one. Do all words have to have a deep meaning behind them? :-P
Used when a plan, plot, or action towards someone or something else backfires, and the originating person/thing gets pwned instead of its target.

(In reference to a game player who just blew himself up while trying to eliminate another player) "That guy just got cornpwned!"
